The main campaign and the series' traditional gameplay is the major draw for people looking to pick up Far Cry 6, and anyone seriously interested in the series isn't likely to skip this entry because over the lack of a map editor. It's entirely possible that Far Cry 6 won't remain popular as long as previous entries owing to the lack of Arcade Mode's return, but ultimately it probably won't have a drastic effect, especially on Ubisoft. Members of the development team fielded a variety of questions, and Letendre answered one about the inclusion of a map editor with, " No, Arcade will not come back." He mentions that the decision came as part of a difficult choice to more heavily focus on the Far Cry 6's main story and world building.
